ACER ICONIA W3 :– WORLD’S SMALLEST WINDOWS TAB LAUNCHED

Acer is sprucing up its tablet range in India and has launched
the world’s smallest Windows based tablet in the country.
Part of the Iconia range, Acer Iconia W3 comes with 8.1-inch
display and is powered by Intel Atom Z2760 Clover Trail chipset.
The device pairs with an optional full-size Bluetooth keyboard that holds the tablet upright for typing and then conveniently
docks to the tablet to lay flat for easy, screen-protected
transportation. The tab comes with a keyboard the size of the standard 13-inch devices making it convenient to double up the tablet as a laptop or a netbook.
The tablet is priced at Rs 30,499 for the base variant.
Acer Iconia W3 comes with a 2 MP rear as well as front-end
camera. The tablet also comes with Micro-USB and micro-HDMI connection options.
Apart from Acer Iconia W3, Acer also launched Aspire P3
Ultrabook. Aspire P3, which will be available from Rs 54,499/- onwards comes with fast boot
times, and long battery life. The
device weighs 1.3 kilograms and measures 0.77-inches in terms of thinness.
The third device launched by Acer is Aspire R7 notebook . The Windows 8 powered Aspire R7
notebook a desktop replacement features a 15.6" Full HD 1920x1080 touch screen made for the new computing lifestyle,which increasingly combines
touch and type. With a
repositioned keyboard and the
revolutionary Ezel™ hinge that moves the display forward and
into different positions, the Aspire R7 makes the combination of touching the screen and using the keyboard more intuitive and natural. With four modes of operation, the R7
can easily be used as a
conventional notebook, a pad, a
display, or switched to "Ezel™" allowing the screen to float over the keyboard at various angles.
The Ezel™ hinge makes it easy to flip the display over, and to touch or type while creating, browsing
or sharing content. The Aspire R7 will be available from Rs.74,999/- onwards.
